'A lovely lady with a wonderful smile' Tributes paid following the passing of Carlow woman

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Olive James née of Clashganny, Fenagh, Carlow.

Olive passed away peacefully at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family on January 23rd 2025.

Predeceased by her brother Cecil.

Olive, beloved wife of Tom and adored mother of Roy.

Deeply regretted by her husband, son, daughter-in-law Aishling, grandchildren Isabel, Zara & Naomi, brother Harry, sister-in-law Vera, nephews, nieces, relatives, her wonderful friends and neighbours.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Condolences to the James & Wilson family's on the sad passing of Olive she was a lovely lady with a wonderful smile may she rest in peace."

Another reads:

"With our deepest sympathy to Tom Roy Aishling and girls and the Wilson family on the sad passing of dear Olive a good friend may she rest in peace"

Funeral arrangements

Reposing in Kearney's Funeral Home, Fenagh on Sunday from 3pm until 8pm.

Funeral Service on Monday at 2.30pm in The Adelaide Memorial Church, Myshall,

followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
