"Jim, you were like another older brother to me, loyal to a fault! I will forever cherish those years living with you in Stillorgan during college, the best of times! Your unique sense of humour and infectious laugh will be missed by me and so many others.

You really were one of a kind.

Until we meet again"

Another one reads, "So saddened to hear of the passing of James. I had the pleasure of working closely with James for a few years.

He was a gent, a nicer guy you couldn’t meet. He could make a room laugh with a witty one liner, and the craic would be 90. We loved his company and the banter, something we will never forget, along with his laugh. He certainly did enrich our circle.

James, Rest easy my friend xx

Condolences to all of James’ family and many friends. May you all take care of each other in this very difficult time."

And finally, "Our deepest sympathies to the Coady family and all of James’ friends. James was a great guy and we have many fond memories of him holding court in the kitchen and entertaining everyone. He will be missed by so many."
