Tributes paid following the passing of Carlow man who was a 'proper gentleman'

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Kevin Lennon of 14 Sycamore Road, Rathnapish, Carlow.
Kevin passed away peacefully at his home on the 9th of October 2024.
Beloved husband of the late Eileen and much loved father of Kevin, Paul, Ian and Fiona, adored grandfather of Niamh and cherished father-in-law of the late Peg. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, sister Frances, son-in-law Maurice, daughter-in-law Martina, granddaughter, extended family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Jack, Noel, Brendan and Reggie

Another reads: "I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Lennon. He was a kind and gentle soul; I will always remember him fondly from childhood days in Rathnapish. My thoughts are with Ian and the Lennon family at this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday evening from 5pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
