Marie (Gretta) McCabe (née Kelly) - 10th April 2024
Tributes have been paid following the death of Gretta McCabe of 99 Riverview Close, Tullow Road, Carlow, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny on the 10th of April 2024.
Beloved wife of Jimmy and much loved mother of Sean, Thomas, Sharon, Tina, Jamie, Natasha, Tamara.
Gretta will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, sons in law Christy, Dessie, Paul and Nial, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: "So sorry for the loss of your loving wife mother and grandmother. May Marie’s gentle soul rest in peace."
Another reads: "Deepest sympathy to Jim and family and the Kelly family on the sad passing of Gretta. You are all in our thoughts & prayers at this sad time. Rest in Peace Gretta.
And finally: "Our deepest condolences to Jimmy and all the family at this sad time
RIP."
Funeral Arrangements:
Reposing in Lacey`s Funeral Home, John St., Carlow (R93 R8P4), on Friday, 12th April, from 4pm until 7pm and on Saturday 13th from 4pm until 7pm on Sunday 14th April in Glennons / Des McWey Abbey View Funeral Home, Academy St., Kildare, from 4pm until 7pm.
Removal on Monday 15th from Glennons Funeral Home to St Brigid's Church arriving for 11am Requiem Mass.
Burial immediately afterwards in St Conleth's Cemetery.
