Tributes paid for Carlow man who was 'truly kind and gracious' following his passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Paul Leith of Bagenalstown, Carlow, & late of Belfast, & Milltown, Newbridge on June 19th, 2024.

Paul passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St Luke's Hospital, County Kilkenny.

Predeceased by his adored parents Leo and Rose Leith. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Angela, sons and daughter Paul, Damien, Áine and Darren, son-in-law Phil, daughter’s-in-law Eileen, Sarah and Mairead, grandchildren Paul Jnr, Jarvis, Matthew, Neive, Jagger, Grace, Kikki, Isabelle and Isaac, brothers and sisters, Ger, Brian, Martin, Phil, Marian and Des, brothers & sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of RIP.IE and read as follows:

"Sincere sympathy Angela Paul Damien Aine Darren and all the extended families. Our heart goes out to you all at this very sad time. Paul will be remembered very fondly by all of us. The very happy memories of the good times shared with Paul in Barronstown. A truly kind and gracious gentleman. Rest easy now Paul. With you all in thoughts and spirit."

Another reads: "Angela, deepest condolences to you, Paul, Damien, Áine and Darren on the sad passing of Paul. I remember him with warmth and fondness for the genuine lovely man and great company that he was. May his gentle soul rest in peace."

A third user writes: "Sincere condolences to all the Leith family on the sad passing of Paul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. May he rest in eternal peace."

Removal from Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry St, Newbridge on Friday morning to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge for 11am Mass. Paul’ s funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/parish-church Funeral afterwards at St. Conleth's Cemetery.
