Tributes paid to Carlow lady who was 'kind to everyone' following her passing
Margaret (Madge) Aughney (née O'Neill) - Tuesday 1st October 2024
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Margaret (Madge) Aughney née O'Neill of Aughmorrow, Roscatt, Tullow, County Carlow.
Madge Aughney née O'Neill passed peacefully in the wonderful care of the management & staff of Waterford Regional Hospital, 1st October 2024.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, her parents Timothy & Mary, sisters Molly & Kathleen. Madge deeply regretted by her sister Bridget, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Madge was an absolutely amazing person. She was so kind to everyone. Good for the laughs and the reverse compliments. She will be missed by all. Love Anne and Mike xx"
Another reads: "So very sorry to hear Madge has passed. Deepest sympathy to her sister , to Tim, Liz ,the Larkin and Doyle families. Madge was a lovely gentle lady loved to meet her and have a chat, she had a smile for everyone. Rest in peace Madge."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in Kearney's Funeral Home Fenagh on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8 pm and on Thursday from 3pm followed by removal to St Patrick's Church Rathoe arriving at 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 Noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
