Tributes paid to Carlow man who had a 'great sense of humour' following his passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Nicholas (Nick) Carroll of Tankardstown House, Tullow, Co. Carlow and late of Coolmanagh, Hacketstown Carlow.
Nicholas passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of The District Hospital, Carlow on the 30th of January 2025.
Recently predeceased by his wife Maree, also his brother Eamon, his sister-in-law Ann and daughters-in-law Mary and Teresa. Loving father of Niall, Orla (McPartlin), Ian, Daragh and Clodagh (Byrne), cherished grandfather of Eoin, Nicky, Louise, Aoife, Cliona, Oisín, Diarmud, Ashling, Hugo, Keelin and Sophie and great-grandchildren Beauden and Thea. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephew, extended family and his very good neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Sincere sympathy to Niall, Orla, Ian, Darragh & Clodagh and all Nicks family on the death of Nick. He was always a gentleman with a great sense of humor. May he Rest in Peace"

Funeral arrangements
Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow Eircode R93 TX99 on Friday evening from 3pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Saturday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.
