Tributes paid to Carlow native who showed 'true generosity and dedication'

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Oscar Traynor of Delacey Abbey, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow and formerly Raheny, Dublin.
Oscar Traynor who passed away on the 17th December 2024.
Loving father of his two cherished and adored sons Oisín and Noah. Deeply regretted by their mother Aoife and his partner Mel along with her daughter Kacey. Oscar is survived and will be sadly missed by his mother Monica (Challoner), father Conor, brother Conan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

"To all of oscars family and friends , but especially his two boys whom he loved so deeply...my thoughts are with you all, oscar was such a kind and decent person and every single person in tullow rfc and beyond will always remember him for his true generosity and dedication to every rugby player from minis to u18s and beyond, he was everywhere and helped everyone. . You were a true gentleman oscar may you get the best bed in heaven .
