Tributes paid to former Carlow native who 'lit up every room' following her passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Kathleen (Kathy) Lonergan (née Dermody) of Maple Drive, Caherdavin Lawn, Limerick and Formerly of Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.
Kathleen passed away peacefully at her home on the 15th of July 2024.
Beloved wife of Jeremiah (Jerry). Dearly loved mother of Anthony, Jer and Demelza. Sadly missed by her loving daughters-in-law Paula and Lorraine, son-in-law Seán, her cherished grandchildren Seán, Jude and Joshua, Chole, Kayleigh, Philip, Aimee and Jake, brothers Pat and Robert, sisters Mary, Margaret and Anne, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sister Judy.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (17th July) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Christ the King Church, Caherdavin on Thursday (18th July) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
