Tributes pour in for local Carlow woman who had 'such warmth and wit' following her passing
Maria Nolan (nee Burke) - Tuesday 4th June 2024
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Maria Noland (nee Burke) of The Laurels, Killeshin Road, Carlow and formerly of The Square, Cahir.
Maria passed away peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday the 4th of June 2024.
Maria will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Debbie (Robinson) and Lisa, son Richard, sister Breda, grandchildren Kayla, Erica, Sasha and Petra, Lili and Abbie, son-in-law, Peter, daughter-in-law Naz, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: "Lisa, l am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mum. She was a true lady, with such warmth and wit. I can’t imagine the loss you are experiencing. May your mum’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Thursday (June 6th) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.30am in St. Mary’s Church, Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
