On Sunday December 2, Duckett’s Grove Historic House and Walled Gardens was transformed into a winter wonderland for its ever-popular Christmas Food and Craft Fair.
Featuring ceramics and knitwear, art, jewellery, embroidery, Christmas cards and decorations, visitors enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings while browsing through the mistletoe and all the many stalls had on offer.
There were Christmas wreaths and plants (all locally produced) and stalls of cakes, puddings, pies, seasonal fruit tarts, jams, chutneys, pestos, Carlow cheese, chocolate and hampers.
A falconry display of owls, hawks and birds of prey, also delighted those young and old.
Carlow Tourism has provided photos (pictured above) from the event.
