"Amazing what great outcomes can be achieved when groups and individuals in Tullow work together," said Cllr Will Paton has he revealed that all three defibrillatiors had been successfully installed in the north Carlow town. 

He said: "Thanks to O'Toole's Garage (Bunclody Road), Tullow Men's Shed (Pairc Mhuire) and Morgan's Pharmacy (The Market Square) for allowing Develop Tullow Association CLG and Tullow Community First Responders to erect Public Access Defibrillators for the residents of Tullow.

"Thanks also to the Local Entreprise Office at Carlow County Council for facilitating Develop Tullow Association CLG with a Town & Village Fund grant for two of the defibrillators.

"Huge thanks also to Morgan Drea for moving his shop defibrillator to the front of his shop."
