GALLERY: Meeting held in Tinryland to set up Community First Responder Group

Well done to all who attended

A public information evening took place in Tinryland Community Hall on Wednesday, February 13 with a view to setting up a Tinryland and District Community First Responder Group (linked to the National Ambulance Service).

It will be assisting people in the community suffering from stroke, chest pain, choking or cardiac/respiratory arrest.

A short presentation about the work of First Responders was made by experienced volunteers from around the county.

It is hoped to commence training of new CFR volunteers in Tinryland Hall on Wednesday Febuary 20 and 27 from 7pm to 10pm

Everyone over the age of 18 years and with a drivers licence is very welcome.

Thanks to Carlow Town Community First Responders for the pictures.
