Paths in Lismaconly Cemetery resurfaced and made wheelchair and buggy accessible

A great job!

The paths in Lismaconly Cemetery have all been laid with tarmacadam and made wheelchair and buggy accessible.

The work was carried out by Carlow County Council "after years of representation made by Councillor Charlie Murphy and Myshall Muintir Na Tíre".

It cost a total of €21,000 with the Council subscribing €20,000 and local groups €1,000.

Myshall News said: "These paths make it so much easier to visit the graves of our loved ones especially for the elderly and infirm among us."
