Gardaí policing Wexford roads stopped a man on Saturday morning at 10:30am for dangerous driving.
The driver was detected travelling at 157 km/h in a 100 km/h zone and overtaking other drivers on the N25 just outside Wexford town.
The man said he was ‘late for the boat’, but needless to say he missed the boat and earned himself a day in court for dangerous driving.
