Investigation underway after two men die in early-morning house fire

An investigation is underway after two men died in an overnight house fire in County Tipperary.
Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene of the fire which broke out in Littleton, near Thurles during the early hours of this Monday morning.
The fire, which occurred at approximately 2.30am has since been extinguished.
The two men, aged in their 80s and 50s, were both pronounced deceased at the scene which has been preserved for technical examination.
Gardai say investigations as to the cause of the fire are now underway and that the local coroner has been informed.
Members of Tipperary Fire Service are assisting with the garda investigation.
