'I look forward to the matter being resolved before the summer season commences...'
The Tea Rooms at Duckett's Grove will be open on May 12 for the Carlow Vintage and Classic Motor Clubs Annual Show "all going well".
In a post on Facebook, the Tea Rooms said: "There is some remedial work needing attention by the owner of the building, Carlow County Council, following a leak in the roof before Christmas.
"As a tenant of a listed building I am prohibited from fixing it myself. I have been assured that this is being examined and I look forward to the matter being resolved before the summer season commences. Looking forward to welcoming you."
