Appeal for information after daffodil bulbs pulled from planters in Rathvilly and crushed

Rathvilly Tidy Towns has appealed for vigilance after daffodil bulbs were pulled from planters in the village and crushed.

In a post on Facebook, they said: "We are thankful that the village doesn't have a reputation for excessive vandalism (Rathvilly truly is a great place to live).

"So it is very disappointing to hear today that someone has been pulling daffodil bulbs from the planters in the village and crushing them.

"PLEASE, If you see anyone vandalising or destroying anything in the village, tell people about it so something can be done to stop it."
