Appeal for wedding ring lost on hen party in Carlow in hope 'some good person picked it up'

A woman has issued an appeal for her wedding ring which she lost in Carlow over the weekend in the hope that "some good person out there picked it up". 

In a post on Facebook, Nikki O'Rourke said: "This is a really, really long shot, but I lost my wedding ring on Saturday night in Carlow while on a hen party.

"We were in the Barracks Bar, and from there we moved to the Tower, in the Dinn Rí hotel to see 'Smash Hits' playing. This is where I discovered the ring missing from my finger.

"I never post anything on here, but I'd really appreciate it if you could share this, and just maybe, some good person out there picked it up and might return it if they saw this post."
