Carlow Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a rifle was burgled from a Bagenalstown home in County Carlow.
The robbery which took play sometime between the 24th of January and the 2nd of May 2024 in the Monemore area of Bagenalstown.
Entry was gained to the property through a rear window where the glass was broken over the course of the break-in.
A licensed rifle was stolen from a gun safe in the property from a gun safe which was forced open. The rifle has the bolt removed rendering the rifle unusable.
Gardai are appealing for any information in relation to this crime or to anyone who may have seen anything of a suspicious nature in the Monemore area between he above dates, to contact them on 059 9774120.
