New eye-catching infrastructure has been installed by a local Carlow School and makes the area safer while always brightening up the area too!

St. Patrick's National School in Rathvilly are home to these new safety features and is leafing change for safer journeys to school with the installation of this infrastructure.

The new additions include a pedestrian crossings, featuring brightly coloured circles painted directly onto the road. To further enhance safety, pencil-shaped bollards line the route, providing clear delineation for both pupils and motorists.


This engaging design not only protects children on their way to and from school but also creates a more vibrant and welcoming streetscape for the Rathvilly community.
