The Active Travel Section of Carlow County Council is proposing a new plan for a Safe Routes to School plan for a local County Carlow school.
The school in question is the Holy Family Boys and Girls National Schools located in Askea Carlow.

"Great News! The Active Travel Section of Carlow County Council is proposing a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) plan for Holy Family Boys and Girls National Schools in Askea! This initiative will create a designated School Zone to enhance child safety.
If you'd like to share your thoughts, submissions are welcome until 11.59 pm on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. You can submit your comments online at https://consult.carlow.ie/ or by email to activetravel@carlowcoco.ie with "SRTS Askea National Schools - Section 38" in the subject line. You can also submit a written comment by mail to Director of Services, Transport Department, Carlow County Council, County Buildings, Athy Road, Carlow clearly marked "SRTS Askea National Schools - Section 38".
Remember, choose only one submission method (online, email, or post). Don't miss this chance to contribute to a safer school environment!"
