Mrs Glynn recently celebrated her 105th birthday, with Carlow TD, Jennifer Murnane O'Connor commenting on her huge milestone birthday saying:
"It was an absolute joy to call to New Oak Estate to wish Happy Birthday to a very special lady - Mrs. Glynn - who is celebrating 105 years of life! What a fantastic milestone to reach!
One of only a handful of people in Ireland who have reached this age, Mrs. Glynn has experienced and lived through many years of history, life and experiences - and really enjoyed her Birthday Celebrations!
Please join me in wishing her a Happy Birthday and continued health."
The post by the Carlow County Library reads:
"This week Ellen Glynn, of New Oak Estate in Carlow, became the latest recipient of Carlow County Council's Centenarian's Medal. It was presented by Cathaoirleach of Carlow Co. Co., Cllr.
