From the Carlow County Council Community Information Facebook Page:

"The Carlow Active Travel Team are delighted to announce that work is underway on the second phase of the Green Road Junction Tightening Scheme.
The current phase involves the installation of a continuous footpath-style crossing, improved access to the bus stop and a more defined junction layout. Theses changes are designed to enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists alike.
This project is on track to be completed by the end of the month.
We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation during the construction period."
