A local County Carlow Hotel has received a number of awards of excellence at the recent Irish Hotel Awards 2024. Woodford Dolmen Hotel located on the Kilkenny Road in Carlow scooped two of the national awards.

The hotel managed to win awards in the 'Excellence in Service' category and the 'Great Irish Breakfast' category.
