Carlow County Council have received a planning application for the installation of a number of electric car chargers to be located at the Carlow Retail Park in Carlow Town.

The planning application was received by the Carlow County Council on the 12th of September 2024 and was made by ESB Innovation ROI Ireland.

The works included in the planning permission read as follows:

Development at the site located at the Carlow Retail Park, R93 E7C1.

To facilitate 2 shared vehicle charging units and 4 charging bays and ancillary site works within a partially reconfigured parking area.

The decision by the Carlow County Council is due to be made on the 6th of November 2024. The decision of the planning application can be found on Carlow Live.
