Carlow Gardaí seeking the publics help following assault in Carlow Town

Carlow Gardaí are seeking the public's help following an assault that took place on Tullow Street in Carlow Town.

The incident took place on Sunday the 14th of January 2024.

The incident was featured on RTÉ's Crimecall on the 23rd of September.

From the Garda website:

"DAY / DATE: Sunday / 14/01/2024

TIME: 01:10am

LOCATION: Public House, Tullow Street, Carlow

DETAILS: The victim got up from his seat to use the toilet. When leaving the toilets, a male appeared at the door and punched the victim.

Suspect description:

Approximately 54 years old

Very tall

Muscular

Long smig – 5/6 inches long which was red / ginger in colour

Bald

Black t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners."
