Carlow fire services as part of Fire Safety Week 2024 are holding a number of open days at fire stations across County Carlow.
The open days will take place at each of the Carlow fire stations in, Carlow Town Bagenalstown, Tullow, and Hacketstown.

"As part of Fire Safety Week 2024, Carlow County Fire & Rescue Service will be holding an open night in each of our Fire Stations at the following times:
>Carlow Town: Wednesday October 2nd from 4pm to 7:30pm
>Bagenalstown: Thursday October 3rd from 6pm to 8pm
>Tullow: Thursday October 3rd from 7pm to 9pm
>Hacketstown: Friday October 4th from 6pm to 8pm
Firefighters will be on hand to provide information on fire safety in the home as well as demonstrating our vehicles and equipment.
All members of the public including children are welcome to attend!
Demonstrations and talks will be ongoing throughout the evening so feel free to drop in to your local station anytime between 6pm and 8pm.
The open night may also be of interest to those who may be considering pursuing a career in the Fire & Rescue Service. Our firefighters will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. "
