Carlow Town funeral home seeking planning permission for change of business premises to apartments

Carlow County Council have received a planning application for the change of use of the first floor level of a Carlow Town Funeral home into apartments.

Carpenter Brothers Ltd. have submitted a planning application to the Carlow County Council on the 8th of October 2024 with a decision date set for the 2nd of December 2024.

In 2019, Carpenters Funeral Home were granted planning permission by local authorities to move premises to the previously A-Z House on Barrack Street, Carlow, which has since become the current location for the funeral home.

The proposed works in the planning application read as follows:

Permission for change of use of first floor of existing commercial building to 2-bed apartment at Barrack Street, Carlow, R93 C6R2.

Decision when made by the Carlow County Council can be found on Carlow Live when it has been made.
