Carlow Council announce the completion of junction tightening scheme on the Green Road

Carlow County Council's Active Travel team have announced the completion of the Junction Tightening Scheme on the Green Road in Carlow.

The aim of the project is part of the Council's ongoing commitment to improve road safety and promote active travel in Carlow.

"Carlow Active Travel is excited to announce the successful completion of the Junction Tightening Scheme on Green Road, Carlow.
This scheme involved reducing the width of the junction approach, making it more difficult for vehicles to turn at high speeds. Additionally, the project included the installation of new road markings and signage to enhance visibility and guide drivers safely through the junction. The Junction Tightening Scheme is part of the council's ongoing commitment to improving road safety and promoting active travel in Carlow.
We would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding during the construction period. We believe that the improvements made to this junction will significantly enhance road safety for all users."
