Carlow funeral director, Rory Healy, who issued a vital callout for members of the public of a Cork woman living in Carlow whose next of kin had all past away.
The powerful statement that Rory Healy made featured the line "Let's not send Mary off from Carlow alone" and facilitated over 300 people attending the mass to send Mary off.

Speaking the Katie Hannon on how Mary was as a person, Rory says "Through the times I met her, she was all very quiet, very very respectful lady, and that you would have known straight away she was from from Cork, with her with her with her with her lilt and and that. So she was lovely, quite lady."
After posting the message Rory was asked how many people he expected to turn up to the mass "I expected about a dozen or 20 people, hopefully, at most, able to turn up in at at Askea mass that morning." "How many turned up?" "Over 300."
He was then asked about the atmosphere in the church that morning saying "I mean, it was absolutely extraordinary. Very, very extraordinary. When I walked into the church that morning, before we brought Mary in for mass, I couldn't believe what I what I saw. It it you could call it an an uplift uplifting atmosphere because people were there because they got the call and there everyone was delighted to see everyone else there that were so much people there on the day."
