Carlow and Kilkenny are celebrating excellence in apprenticeship and have recognised three individuals, two of which are former pupils of Tullow Community School in Carlow.
The two students from Tullow CS are Quentin Smith of Burnside Autocyl and Samantha Byrne of Vanilla Hair Design.

"Celebrating Outstanding Achievements in Apprenticeship!
Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board proudly recognised three incredible individuals for their remarkable achievements and TWO of them were past students of Tullow CS:
Quentin Smyth of Burnside Autocyl, Tullow, was awarded a Gold Medal in Polymechanics Automation at the WorldSkills competition held in Dublin in September 2024!
Samantha Byrne of Vanilla Hair Design, Tullow, who was honoured with the Workplace Mentor of the Year Award at the 2024 National Apprenticeship Awards!
Many congrats to Quentin and Samantha on your recognition, and we wish you both continued success for the future."
