ALERT: Motorists advised as bridge repair works will take place for more than a week in Carlow

Carlow County Council has announced that Tullow Municipal District Office will be carrying out bridge repair works in County Carlow.

The repair works will take place from Monday the 24th February until March 6th and will take place from the hours of 8:00am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The information comes from Carlow County Council Facebook page:

"The Tullow Municipal District will be carrying out Bridge Repair Works @ Acaun Bridge, Hacketstown Rd, Co Carlow. {R-727}, From Monday 24th February, until Thursday 6th March.
These works will take place between the Hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Motorists who intend to use the aforementioned road are advised to plan their journey accordingly taking into account possible delays.
Carlow County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to members of the public who reside at or normally use the area in question and will endeavour to have the works completed by the appointed time."
