Gardaí in Carlow investigating a number of vehicle fires around the County

Carlow Gardaí are investigating a spate of vehicles being set on fire across County Carlow in the early hours of Monday morning the 10th of March 2025.

Three separate incidents of vehicles being "engulfed in flames", with two taking place in Tullow and one taking place in Carlow Town.

The public appeal sent by the Carlow Gardaí:

At 00:40hrs when a vehicle became completely engulfed in flames while parked in the driveway of a property at Gortnahowan in Tullow town.

Following this incident at 00:48hrs Gardaí received a further report of another vehicle on fire at Castlemore in Tullow. The owner had managed to extinguish the flames in this case however the vehicle was extensively damaged.

Subsequently Gardaí later received a report of a another vehicle on fire in the Oakley Park area of Carlow Town. This report was received at 03:17hrs and the vehicle in this instance was also extensively damaged
