Carlow County Council have received a planning application for the alteration of previously granted planning permission for the development of apartments on Tullow Street in Carlow Town.
The proposed development is hoping to take place at number 139 and 140 of Tullow Street.
The development and alterations to previously granted permission are in reference to a number of apartments at the aforementioned locations.

The planning application was submitted to the Carlow County Council on the 21st of March of 2025, with a decision due date set by the Carlow County Council of the 15th of May 2025.
The details of the new planning application read as follows:
The alterations of the development of 139/140 Tullow Street.
Part of the existing shop at 139 to be converted to a 1 bedroom studio apartment/repositioning of access stairs to upper floors.
The first floor to contain 2 one bedroom studio apartments to replace the previously granted 2 bedroom apartment.
Redesign of existing apartment to 139 of previously granted 2 bedroom apartment to 2 one bedroom apartments to number 140 and redesign of granted studio studio apartment to 1 bedroom apartment.
Second floor, 2 one bedroom studio apartments to replace the previously granted 1 bedroom apartment with redesign.
At the time of writing there are currently no submissions or objections to the planning application.
