HSE set to offer conselling support to those affected by shooting incident in Carlow

The HSE are set to offer counselling supports to people in Carlow affected by the traumatic events that occurred on Sunday evening in Carlow Town.

This is in response to the shooting incident in the Fairgreen in Carlow, that sent shockwaves throughout the entire county.

The notice by the HSE reads:

"The HSE is continuing to offer support in the community response to traumatic events that occurred in Carlow Town on Sunday evening, the 1st of June.

On Wednesday, 4th of June, HSE Dublin and South East psychology staff will again be available in the Carlow Primary Care Centre (Shamrock Plaza, R93 T8Y6) between 9am and 5pm. This is a further support service to anyone impacted by last Sunday’s events in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow."

To anyone interesting in availing of these services provided by the HSE they can reserve a slot with a member of the team by calling 056 773 2000 or by calling into HSE reception on the 2nd Floor of Carlow Primary Care, Shamrock Plaza, Carlow R93 T8Y6.
