ALERT:  Multiple County Carlow road works to take place with full road closure in place

Carlow Councillor Will Paton has announced that Tullow Municipal District Office will be carrying out road resurfacing works for the day at two separate locations for the day, with full road closure in place on both the roads in question.

Both road closures will take place for one day, commencing on Wednesday the 4th of June.

"L20214 MONAUGHRIM TO WATCHORN’S CROSS, CLONEGAL, CO. CARLOW
Tullow Municipal District Office gives notice that, subject to weather conditions, the L20214 roadway from Monaughrim to Watchorn’s Cross, Clonegal, Co. Carlow will be closed to traffic on Wednesday 4th June 2025 from 8:00am until 6:00pm.

This is to facilitate road resurfacing works and an endeavour to maximise safety for road users and operatives alike. Local residents will be facilitated but there shall be strictly no through traffic permitted during the works."

The second announcement reads:

"L20211 & L20243 BALLINTEMPLE, ARDATTIN TO KILCARRY, CLONEGAL, CO. CARLOW
Tullow Municipal District Office gives notice that, subject to weather conditions, the L20211 and L20243 roadways from Ballintemple, Ardattin to Kilcarry, Clonegal, Co. Carlow will be closed to traffic on Wednesday 4th June 2025 from 8:00am until 6:00pm.

This is to facilitate road resurfacing works and an endeavour to maximise safety for road users and operatives alike. Local residents will be facilitated but there shall be strictly no through traffic permitted during the works."
