Carlow County Council have provided conditional planning approval on a planning application for the construction of 27 new homes in County Carlow.

The planning permission was received by the Carlow County Council on the 19th of December 2024.

The planning permission was submitted by Paula Murphy.

The location of the new homes in the planning notice are at Ard Bhile, Rathvilly, County Carlow.

The details of the planning application are listed as follows:

The construction of 27 no. dwellings consisting of 4no. three bed (2-storey) townhouses and 23no. four bed (2-storey) townhouses

Connection to existing site services and completion of existing vehicular access road, provision of landscaping and communal open space, boundary treatment works, and all associated and ancillary development works.

A planning decision date was set for the 21st of February 2025 but has now been decided on the 26th of June 2025.

The decision is subject to a 4 weeks appeal period by An Bord Pleanala.
