The memorial cup
The “Johnny McNally 3/4 Mile Swim” - hosted by Bagenalstown Swimming Club - takes place on August 8 at 7:30pm.
Mr McNally passed away last October.
The swim course will be from the first fishing stand next to the swimming pool, to the Old Rudkins Mill in the town a walk that Johnny took everyday on his way for his daily swim in the pool.
All are welcome on the night and refreshments will be served at the pool after the race.
Registration’s at 6:30pm followed by the swim at 7:30pm
