A great idea by Carlow County Council

Carlow County Council are encouraging all individuals, groups or clubs to get their creative caps on and "turn your trash into treasure".

All you have to do is submit am original and creative piece made from found or recovered materials that were destined for the bin.

Can you reimagine a new lease of life for all of those plastic bottles? What can be done with the vast amount of disposable coffee cups that go to landfill?

The Council said: "Get creative, let your imagination fo wild."

The challenge begins on Friday, September 10 and judging takes place Friday, October 12 with lots of great prizes to be won.
