Organisers of Scarefest, Carlow's first Halloween festival, have today announced that they will be running additional paranormal investigations in Duckett's Grove on Halloween night, October 31 at 8:30pm.

Tickets for the sessions due to take place this Friday and Saturday are almost sold out so would be ghost hunters are encouraged to get their tickets now before it's too late.

Kevin Brady, one of the organisers, said: "There has been huge interest in the paranormal investigations and rather than leave many people disappointed, we have decided to go again on Halloween night itself.

"This is a very rare opportunity for people to partake in a real paranormal investigation. There are only a limited number of tickets available though and once they're gone, they're gone."

Scarefest is the South East's largest Halloween Festival and takes place between Friday the 26th of October & Sunday the 4th of November.
