Infant Jesus ripped from crib in Freshford, Kilkenny
Hoodlums unscrewed the figure of the Baby Jesus from the Christmas Crib in Freshford over the weekend.
The crib was only constructed on the Square nine days ago and Baby Jesus was there up until Saturday night.
On Sunday morning someone noticed he had been ripped from the crib and was nowhere to be found.
He’s described as being about two foot in length and 16 inches wide and ornately painted.
The culprits had to go to some effort because he was screwed down.
