UPDATED: Tailbacks up to 10km long on M7 and M9 over broken down lorry on Thursday

Vehicles facing long queues

A breakdown been cleared from the M7 northbound before J10 Naas South.

However, traffic remained extremely heavy from both the M7 and M9, with queues stretchin up to 6km to 10km on both approaches.

The HGV broke down in the left lane near the M7/M9 merge at about 8.30am.

A recovery vehicle responded to the incident and the HGV was removed from the scene before 11am.
