Four male teenagers were arrested on Thursday on the outskirts of Kilkenny City in connection with a sexual assault investigation relating to an alleged incident at Courtown Harbour in Wexford in July.
Gardaí are investigating a serious sexual assault that was reported to have occurred on July 28 at approximately 12:15am in the Burrow area of Courtown Harbour, Wexford.
Four male teenagers (one adult and three juveniles) were arrested and are being detained at Kilkenny and Waterford Garda Stations.
In an update on Friday morning, Gardaí said all four males arrested in relation to this investigation have been released without charge. Files will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
