'Shocking what they are up against' - Viewers react to latest episode of The Guards on Virgin Media

The latest episode of Virgin Medias The Guards has left viewers shocked, infuriated, and full of appreciation for the hard work done by An Garda Síochána as they navigate the world of organised crime and criminal networks.

Last nights episode delved into the dark effects that drugs and drug dealing can have on communities while highlighting the growing number of young men being recruited in the world of criminality and the lasting effects it can cause.

Viewers took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express their admiration for the Gardaí while also acknowledging the escalating problem this criminal activity is having on our communities around the country.

The level of humanity, self discipline, decency, and professionalism, by Gardai dealing with drug ravaged communities is phenomenal.
I don't know how they do that job.

That said, the whole drug issue has to be reviewed. Anyone can see it's getting worse not better. Most of these peeps are addicts who need help not criminal records IMO ‍♀️ #TheGuards
