Fans of country music legend Shania Twain and pop princess Taylor Swift will be bopping to their favourite songs at the same time this June... but not in the same place.
Twain's newly announced Irish summer gig takes place on the same date as the beginning of Taylor Swift's Eras tour in Ireland.
Both women are power houses in the music industry with legions of fans all over the world, and many are set to be disappointed as they pick between the two.
The best-selling female artist in country music history, Twain will perform at Malahide Castle on June 28, while four-time Grammy Album of the Year Award winner, Taylor Swift, will play for thousands at the 3Arena on the same date.
In the MCD Productions post announcing Twain's news, a fan stated: "I can’t believe this is on the same day as Taylor."
However, Swift is set to perform on three dates from June 28 to June 30, with presale happening now (low availability).
Anyone who has already booked tickets to Swift's first show may still be able to see their country queen by travelling to Northern Ireland, where Twain will perform at Ormeau Park in Belfast on June 27.
Tickets for Twain's two gigs go on sale via Ticketmaster this Thursday (February 15) at 9am.
