Kildare TV star Brian Dowling and is RTE Dancing With The Stars judge husband Arthur Gourounlian have announced the godparents of their second daughter, Blue Amar Rose.

Big Brother winner Brian took to Instagram over the weekend to share the news that sister Aoife, who was Blu's surrogate, will be her godmother. He also shared that good pal and TV chef Donal Skehan who be godfather to their second daughter who was born in June.

Brian posted: "The votes have been counted and verified by an independent adjudicator. Arthur & I are absolutely delighted that Aoife Dowling (@effidy_dowling_) has said yes to being Blu’s Godmother & Donal Skehan (@donalskehan) has agreed to take on the role of Godfather.

"We adore both Aoife and Donal. They will make a fabulous pair of Godparents and provide Blu with so much love, support and of course, a little bit of spoiling. In fact, they will give @pipsy_pie & @simonjonespr a run for their money in the Godparents department.

"Arthur & I are truly blessed when it comes to the Godparents we have for both our daughters but also the love and encouragement we receive from all our family and friends is priceless. It really does take a village, people."

Donal Skehan was one of the first to comment, saying: "Already in LOVE! Blu we got you!"

Arthur and Brian welcomed Blu last month as sister to Blake who was born in 2022. Brian's sister Aoife acted as surrogate for both Blake and Blu.
