'Everyone else has to pay' - Carlow influencer Lauren Whelan slammed as she 'begs' for tickets to Coachella

Popular influencer Lauren Whelan told followers they would be right if they told her she was 'begging' for Coachella tickets. 

The Carlow influencer shared a video to followers expressing her desire to go to the popular event, proclaiming "Irish influencers would eat" if invited. 

The music festival which many celebrities attend is currently happening this weekend at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

In the video, Lauren pointed out she was making 'an observation'. 

"Why aren't any brands inviting Irish influencers to Coachella. The Irish girlies would eat up. They eat here when it is raining and cold and windy 90% of the time at the festivals here. Hail, rain or shine the Irish girlies will eat up a festival outfit. I think they are missing out on a fabulous opportunity and I think I would be a great candidate for that."

Many have had a mixed reaction in the comments, one user said: "Why should you get to go for free Lauren? Everyone else has to pay?"
