Break-in at Carlow Town phone shop under investigation by Gardaí

Carlow Gardaí are investigating the burglary of a mobile phone shop located at Lower Tullow St, Carlow.

The incident occurred at 3.40am on Thursday morning, 8th February.

The perpetrators cut the shutters and smashed the glass on the front doo to gain access to the business premises.

As of yet the owners are unable to establish what, if anything was taken until a stock inventory is completed.

It is believed that up to three males with hoodies were involved in the crime.

Carlow Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in particular to other businesses on the street who may have CCTV footage, taxis operating in the area who may have dashcam forage or who may have witnessed any persons acting suspiciously in the vicinity at the time, fastfood outlets who may still have been open, to contact them on 059 9136620.
