A technology company from Carlow Town are set to compete for the country's best small businesses as one of the Finalists for the National Enterprise Awards.
Eskimo Software will represent Local Enterprise Office Awards Carlow at the prestigious awards on the 23rd of May 2024 at the awards in Dublin.
Eskimo Software is a company that develops software solutions for motor deals all over the world. They have developed an innovative customer management platform which allows motor dealers to manage lead generation, sales management and showroom tracking in a single cloud-based solution. The business has greatly expanded its international profile in recent years and now has a client base stretching from Ireland to the Middle East to Australia. The business is led by Conor Moran who has an extensive background in software development.
Kieran Comerford, Head of Economic Development & Enterprise in Carlow County Council said: "The National Enterprise Awards serve to highlight the very best businesses that the Local Enterprise Offices are working with across the country. The diversity of sectors and innovation shown again this year is outstanding and the winners will no doubt produce businesses destined for international success. These businesses have excelled in their areas and have the potential to follow in the footsteps of previous winners to become successful global companies."
Cathaoirlach of Carlow Council had this to say: "The National Enterprise Awards is a gathering of champions in innovation and entrepreneurship and I’m delighted that Eskimo Software is representing our County as a enterprise excellence in this National Competition. Their dedication to creativity and technological advancement embodies the spirit of many in our business community sand I wish them well as they venture forth to conquer new horizons in their business endeavors."
The finalists compete for a prize fund of €50,000 through a number of categories such as National Enterprise of the Year winner there are categories for Best Start-Up, Best Export Business, an Innovation Award, a One-to-Watch Award, and a Sustainability Award.
